+ Accessible Chair Yoga

Yoga is for every body. Using chairs and light props, this class is designed to help you enhance mobility, build strength, and ease discomfort. Breath and contemplative practices may ease anxiety and help build presence. This class is geared towards people who need prop support for a number of reasons including age, mobility limitations, injury, and medical situations and is adapted week to week to those who attend. Wheelchair users and those with assistive devices are welcome.

+ Advanced Flow

A dynamic, flowing class that integrates core strengthening sequences as well as options for arm balances and inversion sequences. This class is for students who feel completely comfortable in our open level offerings and wanting to take their practice to a new level.

+ Align

This class blends effective technique with energizing sequences to help you tune into your alignment and enjoy your breath. Principles of anatomy and biomechanics help to cultivate clarity in form and optimize your experience on the mat. This class offers plenty of time to explore poses to uplift and strengthen students in heart, body, and mind.

+ Align + Meditate

This all levels class will be 60 minutes of movement, followed by 15 minutes of guided group meditation. The yoga will blend effective technique with energizing sequences to help you tune into your alignment and breath. You’ll have time to flow and move as well as explore poses for an overall uplifting practice. Meditation is as vital to the practice of yoga as is Downward Dog and our group practice can help cultivate steadiness, trust, increased creativity, and openness to possibility in a supportive community with other seekers.

+ Align + Restore

This 75 minute class begins with 50 min of thematic alignment movement and progresses into 25 min of restorative. This practice provides time to take a few breaths in each pose so that you have to time to make personal adjustments based on cueing. Through mindful movement and self inquiry space is created to deepen your awareness of your body in space.

+ Flow + Restore

This 75 minute class begins with 50 minutes of creative, mixed-level sequenced vinyasa flow, and ends with 25 minutes of restoration to balance the lively practice. Explore your breath per movement to both invigorate and comfort the body and mind. Modifications are offered throughout to make this challenging class accessible to students already familiar with yoga basics.

+ Foundations

Through exploration of yoga fundamentals this class exposes you to basic yoga asana and explores options for clear and responsive alignment for your body. Practice coordinating the breath and movements gracefully together and develop a connection to your physical and energetic body while cultivating strength, balance, and relaxation.

+ Infant Development Movement Education Playgroup

IDME is a child-led approach to movement development that offers guidance to caregivers on how best to support their child's learning through movement in the first year of life - from newborn to early walkers. Through observation, curated playtime and hands-on facilitation, Infant Developmental Movement Educators share ways to support your baby’s healthy developmental processes to sit, crawl, stand, walk and run - and everything in between. IDME Playgroup involves open play time wherein caretakers can observe and learn how to support their child's most easeful movement.

+ Katonah Yoga

This one hour Katonah class will focus on finding the fundamental patterns in the body that reiterate throughout the entire physical yoga practice, while engaging the imagination with theory to develop your relationship with your body in space and time. Poses may by taught workshop-style with the use of props and hands-on adjustments.

+ Kids Yoga + Creative Movement (Ages 3-5)

Brooklyn Flow’s imaginative yoga adventures and animated poses keep little yogis’ creativity and bodies flowing. Our silly yoga sequences enhance children’s concentration skills while refining their motor coordination. Brooklyn Flow’s fun yoga games teach cooperative play and sharpen listening skills as your child transitions to school. Kids' yoga will plant the seed for a life-long love of physical and mental well-being. Please note this class is for 3-5 years olds who are ready for an independent class without their adult in the room. Anyone not ready to be in class without their adult companion is welcome to our Tots class.

+ Kids Yoga & Creative Movement (Ages 6-8)

Brooklyn Flow taps the enthusiasm and curiosity of 6-8 year olds by integrating joyful yoga with creative self-expression using storytelling, music, and art. Fun-filled yoga sequences develop strength, coordination, and body awareness while balancing poses and safe experimentation with experiencing the world upside down build self-confidence. We introduce playful breathing exercises, creative imagery, and relaxation skills that your child can carry with them into their early years of elementary school.

+ Mindful Strength

Strength training meets mindfulness! In this class you'll use your own body weight and small props (bands, balls, and light weights) to develop functional strength, improve range of motion, and explore foundational movement patterns.

+ Mindful Strength: Core Integration

Grounded in mindful technique, biomechanics and controlled movement sequences, this pilates mat class is designed to stabilize your core, improve posture and strengthen your body. This class employs gravity, resistance bands, and small pilates props to challenge stabilizing muscles while recruiting core strength for optimum health.

+ Natal

Pre + Post Natal all welcome! Our gently flowing practice will help you to improve circulation, ease digestion, maintain a limber spine, strengthen your uterus and pelvic muscles, and simply make you more at ease throughout your pregnancy. We take plenty of time to share and address common challenges we face over the prenatal journey including nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, and back pain.

+ Postnatal Mindful Strength Pilates: Baby + Me

Come explore the nature of the deep core — how it moves, functions, and interconnects— to support the postpartum experience. We will journey through our own anatomy, utilizing pilates principles, breath work and integrative strength training as a way to create a strong and resilient core that can meet the demands of parenthood while aiding in recovery. Bring your specific questions or simply come to learn more about holistic postpartum exercise. This class is open to anyone who has birthed, at any age or stage of life and these exercises are safe for almost all postpartum bodies and conditions. While we encourage students to come for a focused hour of self healing, those with young babies are welcome to have baby lie next to their mat.

+ Post Natal: Parent + Baby

Rejuvenate your body after childbirth! Rebuild strength and soothe the aches of new parenthood while connecting with your newest addition. This class combines gentle yoga with baby-bonding exercises like infant massage, stretching, and songs. Discover your community of new parents and share concerns, challenges, and milestones. Open to all parents and caregivers with babies 6 weeks old up to crawlers. A mat is included with this class. We kindly ask to bring Baby in a carrier as we are very limited in stroller parking :)

+ Restorative

Soothe your nervous system with this restful 75 minute practice. Class will begin with some gentle movement to ease the body into stillness, followed by supportive asana shapes using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, with time in each so that you can focus on your breath and unwind. This practice may cultivate a calmer sense of being, as well as reduce body and mind tension. Class is for any and all including those arriving with injury or strain. All bodies are welcome. Beginner and prenatal friendly.

+ Slow Flow + Restore

This 75 min practice offers 50 minutes of asana movement and 25 minutes of complementary restorative to shift the body into a state of release. Slow Flow inspires a deeper sense of curiosity of the body, breath and possibility within a pose. Every practitioner is invited to explore the options in a personal way.

+ Sunrise Flow

Start the day with this energizing 60 minute Vinyasa Flow.

+ Teen Yoga

This class brings Brooklyn Flow’s signature fun-filled yoga to a space just for teens. Spirited, flowing sequences, increasingly challenging balancing poses, arm balances, backbends and inversions (handstands!) will be introduced along with partner poses and community-building yoga games. This one hour class also features breath awareness, meditation and restorative postures to promote self-awareness and relaxation. All teens are welcome to learn and experience these practices for life-long physical and mental well-being!

Teens age 13 and older are also welcome to try our adult classes once they are ready. We recommend starting with our Yoga Foundations classes. Teens can use these yogic practices to support their physical and mental well-being as they navigate the path to adulthood.

+ Tots (Walkers through Ages 3 + an adult)

Your tots will celebrate the wonders of mobility, communication, and independent exploration with you in this joyful class. Animated animal poses and imaginative games help toddlers to recognize (and eventually repeat!) patterns and tap their budding creativity. Our tot-centric poses improve motor coordination, cognitive development, and socialization while kids learn about the wonders of their body. For walkers up through 3 and a parent or caregiver. Please make reservations under your child's name. If you're bringing an extra family member, please call the studio after purchasing your Additional Family Drop-In to reserve that person's spot.

+ Tween Yoga (Ages 9-12)

This class continues Brooklyn Flow’s signature fun-filled kids yoga while introducing spirited, flowing sequences, increasingly challenging balancing poses, and imaginative relaxation tools to nurture the growing independence of 9-12 year olds. Partner poses and team-building yoga games encourage healthy socialization and body image. Your child will develop strength and self-confidence both on and off the yoga mat!

+ Vinyasa

A creative, energetic, mixed-level flow class that integrates the fundamentals of yoga through intelligent sequencing and a steady breath. This class will keep you intrigued, enlivened and, ultimately, chilled out. Modifications are offered throughout to make this challenging class accessible to students already familiar with yoga basics.

+ Vinyasa Warm Room

A warmer spin on our classic vinyasa flows, the room is warmed to 82 degrees.

A creative, energetic, mixed-level flow class that integrates the fundamentals of yoga through intelligent sequencing and a steady breath.
